Petritoli….Staying in a medieval castle

If you want to experience staying in a castle village, Petritoli is your place.

Petritoli is an absolutely charming village, that is located 20 min from the sea and 40 from the Sibillini National Park. Also, it is a magical place where many foreigners come to have destination weddings.

A very dear friend of mine has 2 wonderful places here, one in the medieval village of Petritoli and the other on the side of a beautiful valley.

As she was getting ready for new guests I walked up to meet her and see the place and was pleasantly surprised at what a charming holiday home she has to offer.

the first floor of this charming apartment has a very welcoming entrance into a kitchen and dining area, I feel to have a dinner party here.

A beautifully decorated shabby-chic dining area that seats 8 comfortably. At the end of the room, there is a door.

Ahhh what is this?

A library/reading nook with fireplace. As I turned around I was taken back by a little terrace with amazing views.

Perfect place for morning coffee or tea. Oh and by the way this view also catches the amazing sunsets we get here in Le Marche. The mountains there in the distance are the Sibillini National Park.

Now moving up to the second floor, I must say that I am impressed at the charm of this adorable place.

At the top of the stairs one can go straight or turn left, I went straight into that little doorway.

Ahhhhhh, of course, a private terrace with sunset views.

Going left at the top of the stairs I entered another suite. with a private leu room with a Moroccan feel.

Yet another terrace with loungers to take an afternoon nap or sunbath.

The views are spectacular!!!

On the third level of this charming apt. is a queen size snoozing nook.

And a daybed for a child or yet another place for private time to read and chill out.

I live 10 minutes from here but would love to spend a weekend here myself.

The prices are surprisingly affordable for this holiday rental. There are many advantages of staying here in this medieval village, my two favorites are fresh morning pastries and coffee bar.

There is a small sweet nightlife here that starts around 6pm where you can have an aperitif and a few charming family restaurants with all food grown locally.
