Wow, I was nominated for the Liebester Award!

The Liebster award is a fun way of getting to know fellow new bloggers out there and help each other ease our way into the blogging world.

There are a few rules to follow:

1. What country were you born in?    The United States of America.

2. What is your least favorite food?    I really dislike eating any organs.

3. Have you eaten any delicacies (eg. snails) and what was it?  Well, I had sea snails for the first time the other day as a matter of  fact. I tried it since it was on my plate and I confirmed what I thought, that i should not have put it in my mouth.

4. Why did you start blogging and when? I started blogging this year January of 2017, because to be honest i really love where I live and want to share it with the world. I also stopped posting so much on Facebook and wanted another way to remember and share what I love.

5. Who or what inspires you? All the beauty around me.

6. Are you an introvert or extrovert? I am an extrovert and sometimes I can be an introvert, it all depends on the situation. But shy I am not.

7. Do you work? If so what do you do? No I don’t have a job I go to I have a job I live in. Hummmmm, yes I am a housewife.

8. Your favorite book, if you read? I don’t have a favorite book but a favorite author, Octavia E. Butler she is amazing I have read her books a few times over and never get bored, by the way I get bored easily.

 9.   Sweet or savory? Savory all the way.

10. Have you ever been to Melbourne, Australia? Unfortunately, no but hope to get there soon.

11. What has been the happiest moment in your life? Now, is the happiest moment in my life. I have never loved my life as I do now.

    thanks for the nomination Issa but am an award free blog so will briefly answer some of your questions here …
    1. have already posted about what I’d do with a win, search ‘win $10 million’
    3. born and bred on the beach but lived many years in the mountains so couldn’t choose

    It was fun reading your replies! I laughed about the snails – yes, sometimes we ‘tastes’ something and then wonder, ‘how can i politely discard this without seeming rude?’ – that happened to me yesterday while eating a soup.. the broth was nice but the strips of what i suppose were ‘tripe’ was not a pleasant experience… i left them in the bottom of the bowl then gave them to teh dog when no one was around!

    ps.. congratulations! your choices for starting the blog were somewhat like mine.. to write about my experiences and allow my ‘loved ones’ to either enjoy at their leisure or not…. otherwise i feared they often dreaded my long emails with stories/photos…. i never expected that strangers would find my life interesting!

    ditto for you i suspect, and your life is very interesting!

      Exactly … On the same page with this one…. We all must do what makes us happy and respect others that might not share the same interest. This does not mean they don’t love us any less. I also feel just by being here sharing our experiences and we can say “strangers” but like minded people or else they would not be doing the same.

    What is your favorite fairy tale?

    Beach or mountains? Mt. Beach, Oregon. It’s got it all.

    What food do you seek out when you’re blue? Greens.

    Favorite painter or painting? That one with the nude chick. I forget who did it.

    You’ve been given a working time machine. What era of history would you visit? Two days ago. It was AWESOME.

    Who is or was your celebrity idol as a kid? Lili St. Cyr. Still is.

    Which childhood film always leaves you nostalgic? “Children of the Corn”. God, it was like a biopic….

    What is your favorite color? Asian.

    Do you consider yourself special? Like, short-bus special? Or “better than you and any 10 people you know” special? Either way…yes.

    How has your blog changed your life in any way? Strangers now ask me to answer lists of questions. Amazing.

    Whew. That took more out of me than I thought. Better refill that restorative breakfast grappa…
