In theatre, a farce is a comedy that aims at entertaining the audience through situations that are highly exaggerated, extravagant, and thus improbable.
Last night was our monthly dinner out with our 8 “Foodie” friends. This month we picked frangipane casual restaurant. Yes the name is all in lowercase letters and they call themselves “casual restaurant” but it is anything but! Once you walk through the door of this eatery of 6 tables, you begin to feel yourself fall down the “rabbit hole” to another dimension. When you are seated they serve you a small glass of prosecco, followed by a tiny glass of fresh juice of strawberry and ginger.
Yes, Drink The Juice.
P.S. I did not get photos of everything because the entertainment and food was too amazing.
Let the experience begins.

Falling through the rabbit hole and ending up in the dinning room of, The Madd Hatter.

Inside a magazine is hidden the night menu. Let the Zaniness begin!

Egg linguine with a sauce made of strawberry & mint. No meat added

What is this, let me take a closer look.

Free-range roasted beef, with fresh tiny greens, apples alla julienne & rose peppercorns.

Ferdinand waited for his great love all night, but he never arrived!

A Twist on Tiramisu. A homemade biscuit with a soft cacao center, placed in fresh whipped cream , with a surprise sweet mint sauce at the bottom. A delicious unexpected upside-down dessert.
