Winter months this Lake is not lukewarm as you can see in the photo above.
Spring, its a wonderful place to visit, as my husband and I had lunch in the village above then enjoyed the sun overlooking the Lake of Fiastra.
Summer months, it’s a beautiful lake to visit, on a hot summer day, for a picnic and swim in it’s lovely lukewarm waters.
HISTORY:
Lago di Fiastra is a reservoir in the province of Macerata in the Marche region of Italy. It was created in 1955. The Fiastrone flows into the reservoir from the south and exits the reservoir in the northeast part of the lake. The lake is located within Monti Sibillini National Park.
